I remember beginning to watch the evening news programs when the Vietnam body counts were shown. I was 10 to 12 years old then, from 66 to 68. My Dad was gung ho for the war as was my small Indiana town.  I was planning to enter the seminary for the priesthood in high school so I felt I didn't have a dog in the race.
